Malacca: 11.04.09

Super long overdue post!
Thanks to Good Friday, it was a long weekend last weekend. After a usual mahjong session on a Friday evening till Sat morning, we decided to go Malacca for a short trip. And so our trip started at 5:30am in the morning. Our 2 drivers took turns to drive and sleep while me and Xiuling were napping comfortably at the back seats.
Reaching our destination, the first place we went to was the chicken rice stall. Nothing special except that the rice are being rolled into ball shapes. The hainan chicken was tough! Most probably kampung chicken.
Think Kutu liked the chicken. He was looking at the last piece I was eating. My face looks damn funny lah, had to mosaic it.
After lunch, we went to walk around Malacca. The weather was freaking hot! Then we went to the private musuem which Mediacorp copied the set and duplicated exactly the same to film the show ‘Little Nonya’ in Singapore. Cannot take photos in there, so we only took photos from outside. The inside is exactly what you see on TV except that it was much smaller.
Went to the church.

And this was the only group photo we had for the whole trip.
The green colour thing hanging on my neck is the cap of a mini fan that we bought,X iuling has one in her hand too. We almost had heat stroke.
Some of the random photos that we took along the way.

After all the visiting, we decided to look for a place to stay over as the 2 drivers were too tired to drive back on the same day. And so we managed to find a hotel motel to stay in. Nothing much to complain for a room with 3 beds at rm120 per night. We only needed a place to bathe and sleep in.
Dinner was good and cheap though, we had ‘or jian’, prawn noodles, ‘char kway teow’, ‘hung he’, chinese ‘indian rojak’ and ‘bak kut teh’,all these for only rm50!
After that we continued the night market and had supper.
