My lil bro has grown up!

My little bro has all grown up.  This is a picture of him and his little girl friend.

Yesterday when I reached home, he said to me, in a very serious tone,”惨了, Jia jia(His gf’s name) 的 parents 要见我. 怎么办?”

Then I asked him why suddenly want to see you?  And he replied, because Jia jia’s sis’s bf saw his neoprint (taken with Jia jia) and saw that my bro has a piercing on his lower lip.

I merely laughed and said,”Tell Jia jia’s parents that your whole family has ‘the hooligan face’.  The Dad looks like ‘lau ah beng’ and the sis like ‘chao ah lian’.  But we are actually very nice people.”

Haha, I would like to be his age once again!

Yet another complain…

Now, I finally understand what it means by 冤家路窄.  I’m talking about in general.  And I do believe that the more you dread to meet a particular group of people, the more they tend to appear in front of you.

Is that retribution or what?  Yet, today I met another person belong to this particular group.

I was in the food court, looking around and deciding what to get for breakfast.  I saw this economic bee hoon and wanted to get that for breakfast.  I went towards the store and the auntie was back in the kitchen.  I was in a ‘not-so-bad’ mood, so, I did not shout at the auntie to come out to serve me.  I stood there for awhile, and while waiting, decided what I wanted to eat.

Soon, the auntie came out of the kitchen.  And the 1st question she asked was, “你有没有散钱?”

I did not reply to her question but proceeded to ask,”米粉和hotdog多少钱?”

She refused to answer that question and repeated the same question to me,”你有没有散钱?”

I mean, what’s her problem?  Doesn’t she realise that if she did not tell me how much the bee hoon and hotdog cost, how much 散钱 can I give to her?

Then, I snapped, “你没有跟我讲多少钱，我怎么给你散?”

Talk about me being short tempered.  They should think about the stupid questions they ask. 

Oh, I forgot, they don’t think.

How to cook macaroni!

Introducing the Chef! And his personal assistant!

Today, we are going to cook macaroni in mushroom sauce.

Let’s take a look at the ingredients needed.

1. Ham
2. Boneless chicken breast
3. Button mushrooms
4. 5 cloves of garlic
5. Macaroni
6. A bottle of pasta sauce

Step 1:

 Leave the macaroni in a basin of water to soften before cooking.  Next, boil a pot of water, add in some oil and salt.

Step 2:

Mince the boneless chicken breast.  Put some oil then stir fry them on a pan.

After the chicken is cooked, add in the bottled sauce, button mushrooms, ham and garlic.

Stir and serve!

YUM!

Stupidity..

Sometimes, when things go wrong, there are chances you would point your finger at others and say “it’s his/her fault”.  But not everybody would believe your shit, if insufficient excuses are given and especially if those reasons reflect your own stupidity.

P/s: Everyone who knows me, know I CANNOT STAND stupid people!

There is this girl working as a part-timer in the same clinic as I am, in other words, we are part-time colls.  She is known for being habitually late for every single session at work.

Yesterday morning, she was scheduled to work in the morning session with a male doc.  This doctor has a habit of coming in to the clinic at 8.30am though we open at 8am everyday.  I mean, he’s the doctor as well as the owner of the clinic, and all the patients has already got used to the fact that he always comes in at 8.30am.  And yesterday, he was planning to come in even later.  Thus, he smsed the girl and said, “You can come in later, because I’ll be late.”

We are being paid well at the clinic.  In fact, I would think that we are over-paid.  I have received such sms before too, but it was my own initiative that I thought we should still reach on time, because I am obligated to open the clinic on time though the doctor says that he will be coming in late.  I mean, what would the patients think when they reach the clinic at 8.35am and the clinic was still closed?  If I were a patient, I would have left and thought that the clinic was irresponsible to not open and no notes were left on the shutter to inform patients.  Mind you, most of the patients from the clinic are regulars, chronic patients.

Apparently, the old cleaner of the clinic was nearby and patients waiting outside the clinic forced her to call the full-time clinic assistant to ask if the clinic was going to open today.  And I got a forwarded call from her to ask if I am going to work.  Thank god my mobile was on silent mode.   If not, it would have spoilt my whole Sunday which I could have slept in.

You should have thought of the consequences before acting out.  Now, please don’t say that, “Now the whole world thinks that I am late!”.

You are not late, you are just plain stupid.
