The 3rd day..

It’s been 3 working days since my new job and everything is going on smoothly.  I’ve been on training on the past 3 days and have learnt up to cold calling.  Getting leads from yellow pages and every listing that I can lay my hands on and calling every number that appears in the publication.  It’s not as bad as I thought, though there are some people who doesn’t even give me a chance to speak.

I’m lucky.  The 1st publication that I will be involved in is Singapore Business Services.  Which means, all the places which I have made appointments to see my potential clients are in ‘not-so-ulu’ places.  So far, I’ve managed to get 4 appointments.  3 Dentals and 1 Spa Training Centre.  My manager will be going with me on the 1st few visits and subsequently, I will be on my own.

The peeps here are pretty nice, and mostly are ladies.  So far, I have not seen obvious politics yet, but in a place dominated by women, things are really hard to say.  Well, hope I can survive in this dog eat dog world!
