Happy 4 years Anniversary!

That is to working with HSP for 4 years.  Damn, I’m really getting old… HSP(healthspring) & MLC(meiling clinic) robbed away my youth.  HAH!

Happy 5 years and 10 months!

Hah, sometimes I lose track of how long we’ve been together.  I’m too used to having him around.    Muacks to Mr Kutu!

 P/s:  You guys must be thinking why I am updating my blog so early these few days.  I’m taking my parents’ car to work and I reach office at 7:15am.  Crazy huh?  But I’m getting more time to myself.  Like updating of my blog.  Random photos will be up soon, probably next week.    Cheerios!

Late

She was late again.  Exaggeratingly LATE! She came in at 9:45am when we start work at 8:30am.

No longer the black sheep

Tattoo is so subjective.  Some people think it’s a ‘gangster’ kinda thing.  Some people think it’s an ‘artsy fartsy’ kinda thing.

I am the eldest cousin in my maternal family and I have always been the bad kid around.  They always compare me to my cousin, who possess excellent academic results, who went to the best schools around town and whom they claim has better tempers than me.

Anyway, the point is, the one aunt who said that I looked like a bad kid, her eldest son has gotten a tattoo as well.  And it’s huge, way bigger than mine.

If being bad is measured by the size of tattoos, I’m not the worst kid around.

You’re Fired!

Not me, that is.  My temp worker has been sacked from her 6 months contract job.

Humiliating!  She’s currently with NTU, having her vacation till the end of this year.  And she just started working for my client on 21st May!

Barely a month, she was being complained by my client for showing bad attitude, careless mistakes in data entry, inappropriate dress code and access surfing of the internet.  So, I called and spoke to her, just like humouring a kid, I spoke to her real nicely, saying if she was in their shoes, would she pay money to someone to sit there to surf net?  And about the dress code.  My HR told me that my candidate has been wearing spag straps to work w/out cardigan.  I spoke to her about her dress code too.  But she seems to be oblivious (according to my HR).

Yesterday was the last straw.  She was terminated on the spot.  I don’t know what triggered the termination, but she was sent home that moment.

I can’t imagine, someone can actually get sacked from a temp job.  Really, really humiliating.

Someone from my office is probably going to get sacked soon, too.  Late, despite numerous warnings.  Oblivious.  Or whatever you want to call it.

Work..

The 1st month of temp is over, and I am officially a permenant employee in Excellent HR.  The 1st month of temp was considered part of my probabtion and there will be 2 more months of probation for me.  So far, I like the people in my office as well as my job.  I hope it can stay the same for at least a year.

I’ve been looking through so many resumes these days and I start to wonder if I should really start to ‘upgrade’ myself.  And I am feeling a tinge of regret that I dropped out of Accountancy while at Singapore Polytechnic.

Maybe I will start going for lessons soon.  Or at least something for self developement.

Because, I see myself not heading anywhere.
