Visit to the dentist

Although I consider myself a person with high tolerance for pain, I have phobia visiting the dentist.

Yesterday’s visit did not turn out so bad.  The pain has gone off slightly since Wed morning and the swelling gums around my lower left wisdom tooth has gone down too.  I told the dentist about my wisdom tooth and she says that I’d have to take an x-ray to determine if the tooth has to be taken out. 

In the end, I’d have to take out 3 of my wisdom tooth.  2 on the upper jaw and the one on the lower left jaw.  The 2 on top can be taken out by normal extraction while the bottom one would need operation because the lower one is not fully grown yet.  I’ve made an appointment on next Sat (08/09/07) @ 2:00pm for my surgery.  I’ll be missing solid foods for a week or more.. Sadness..

The visit to the dentist ended with scaling and polishing, and a bill of S$120.00.

It’s back.  My wisdom tooth is growing again.  I’ve made an appointment with the dentist this thursday.  Maybe I would need to get it out.  Then I’ll be on 1 week medical leave.

Fire!

A fire broke out at the 1st storey of my block just 2 fridays ago.  It was an arson case as it was like a campfire.  Except that the ‘campfire’ was made up of newspapers, durian shells and some mangosteen.

Another fire broke out this afternoon.  This time, at kutu’s coffeeshop.

The stall selling fishball noodles caught fire.  Apparently, the oil in the fryer was too hot and that’s how it happened.  Mr Kutu is fine, except that the whole coffeeshop will be closed for 1 week for repaint.

I always believe that bad things happens 3 times in a row.  What’s next?  Pray for me.
